I know I haven't posted on here in a long time and it isn't a shark report or big fish in ya'll's standards...but here is my report...

David and myself headed out this morning to prefish for the DOA paddle tournament next Saturday. The tournament is for one snook, one red, and one trout. They don't have to be slot because it is a photo tournament. We started off the day in the Sound at 6:30. Here are two sunrise pictures from Monday and today...

We paddled down a shoreline and in the first spot we anchored I got 3 snook from 20"-22". David was a few yards farther and got this 25" redfish from the mangroves on his light trout rod...

Official Report

We poled along a flat and I sightcasted this 21 1/2" trout...

Official Report

David soon pulled up to a pothole next to me and hooks up...

Official Report

He caught the 27" 7 1/2 lb. red with many spots sightcasting with a DOA CAL jerkbait...

Official Report

We got done with inshore fishing at around noon so we went off the beaches in search for tripletail and David got this little guy at 15" (released)...

Official Report

Official Report

We saw some HUGE fish inshore but it was difficult seeing them before they saw us. I hope next Saturday will be just like today except catching at least half of the fish we spooked. A beautiful day in paradise. =)

Stay tuned for shark reports!!!
